The Dance

inspired by contemporary artist Annie Marcelino's
"The Dance" (image below)

Using multi-track recording, The Dance is comprised of 17 guitar tracks,
(using a single Taylor electric/acoustic guitar) with each part introduced
about every four bars, including the percussive sounds which are
produced by tapping, knocking, or scratching the guitar surface in
various areas.

On July 8, 2006, I had the rare pleasure of performing The Dance
live in Rome, N.Y. (using an electronic phrase loopback device) for my
8th grade music teacher Mr. Rocco Vacca, whom I had not seen
in 40 years.
